CONNECTING HIGH SCHOOLERS
VMC Youth activities are designed to engage our teens in meaningful ways. We value building healthy relationships to support our students through this season of growth.
The safety of youth is extremely important to us! All volunteers that serve with kids under age 18 have clearances as determined by PA Act 153 and then receive ongoing training focused on child safety.

Puerto Rico Service Trip
Many of our high schoolers will be heading to Puerto Rico on a service trip later this summer to connect with and serve alongside our friends there.

Our two Youth Groups, tweens (grades 4-8) and high schoolers gather together for connection over games, worship, and a meal, before separating for a time of Bible study.

Sunday school for teens (8-12th-grades) is a small group setting led by one of our awesome adult leaders. Sundays at 9 am
During the summer, high schoolers join the adult class so we can all enjoy cross-generational learning for a season.

We value all that teens bring to the table at our church. There are numerous ways for high schoolers to use their skills and develop new ones here at VMC. There's something for everyone from the AV Team to singing on the Worship Team to serving in the nursery alongside adult volunteers!
